2nd Maine Colonel Charles Wentworth Roberts Inscribed Civil War Pewter Whiskey Flask & Cup

Colonel Charles Wentworth Roberts, of the 2nd Maine Infantry, inscribed pewter whiskey flask and cup. The front of the flask is inscribed Col. C. W. Roberts 1861. Charles Roberts Enlisted on 5/2/1861 as a Lieut Colonel. He was promoted to Colonel of the 2nd Maine on 8/29/1861. He was promoted to Brig-General on 3/13/1865 by Brevet. No too bad if you ask me. The original cap and cup are both present. The cup has some seam separation at the top. The flask shows use and age wear. The cup and flask have some old light grey paint in sections. It is a good relic. $1495
