Kenansville Confederate Naval Cutlass

Good example of a scarce Kenansville Confederate Navy Cutlass. This sword is very similar to the Kenansville bowie knife. The main difference is the wood hand grip. The navy culass has a round wood hand grip while the bowie has a carved rectangular style hand grip. The blade and iron hand guard both show wear, pitting, and cleaning. The hand grip is the original one and has never been removed from the cutlass. The blade tip is a bit rounded from use. You rarely see this navy cutlass around. $3475
