Neat Confederate wood drum canteen. It has all three strap guides or holders. The spout is missing and there are some chewing marks around the opening. Both sides of the canteen have a soldier carved capitol E. One side also has an A. The other also has a J. It looks like there was more written on one side but I just can't make anything out. It shows use and age wear. The iron bands have surface rust and pitting but are solid. It is a real used example for a fair price. $1495
