Civil War period antler handled belt knife. The blade is maker marked WINGFIELD ROWBOTHAM & CO TENTER STREET SHEFFIELD. The hand guard, pommel camp, ferrule, and scabbard throat are all brass or copper. The leather scabbard body has hand carved cross harching. The scabbard tip is missing. The scabbard throat is marked L. G. The antler handle has a great aged patina and measures 5 3/8" long. The overall length is 11 7/8" long. The top and bottom blade edges show period and more modern sharpening. It is an interesting looking belt knife. $365
